So for those of you who can't be bothered reading my past few blogs, I told you that I was going to try and win the competition for the JLS Backstage VIP tickets to see them live in concert on February 27th next year. Today, I called the radio station and talked briefly to the radio guy and he told me what I had to do. He said tha t he was going to ask a question on the air and if I knew the answer I was to text into the station with it, and then they pick them at random out of the right answers. So I waited with patience until he finally asked the question, ''What does the slang web abbreviation TTYL mean?'' Of course, you can imagine me scrambling for my mother's phone (mine was out of battery) and frantically texting in the answer. Then I waited, and waited, and then...

''Congratulations! Rachel, from Wexford, you get a chance to win those VIP tickets!''

Woohoo! I'm Rachel from Wexford!

''Yes, thank you so much, I'm so excited!'' said Rachel.

Wait...

I didn't say that? It took me about thirty seconds to realise that it had been an unfortunate coincidence that a girl with the same first name as me, and who lives in the same place, got to try and answer all the questions. You have to answer as many question things as you can in thirty seconds, that's what you get if you text in the right answer, AND granted that you alone are picked out of the thousands of people texting in.

Very complicated stuff, but basically, I didn't get it, another Rachel living in the same place as me did.

Heartbreak slowly but surely ensued.

But, after that the radio guy said, ''Try and beat Rachel's score, tomorrow at 7:50!''

So that's exactly what I'm going to do. If there is one thing you can be sure of, it is that I will never give up until my chance is gone. So I intend to sit through another grueling 2 hours of radio, and wait with a small trickle of hope. How ever small that trickle may be.

Oh, and I think I may have bankrupted my mom on her phone bill.

No joke intended...

This blog may have been my most uninteresting to the general public, but as you can probably see, it means so much to me, and I just have to get it out. So deal with it. Lol.

My friend Hannah (who is on blogger - http://hannahdeacon.blogspot.com/, take a look at her blog, it's pure gold ) told me how to change stuff around on my page, so she is the reason for my new bloggyness style! She's also my best friend, who lives out in the wilderness with me.

My family is watching Twilight downstairs. Now, it's not that I don't love bonding with them, it's just that I promised myself I was going to blog everyday. Plus, I just had to tell you guys my unfortunate event with the radio thing. Lol, I reminded myself of one of those plastic-looking Barbie girls from one of those chick flicks, you know the one's I mean.

Maybe you don't. Oh well.

The first time I watched Twilight, I absolutely loved it. I wanted to marry it. It was just, love at first sight. Literally. But, then I went to see it again in the cinema, and, I don't know, it was like all the magic was gone, like it had been robbed of it's greatness. I have seen it a few times more since then, but have never fully enjoyed it, if I'm completely honest. It was so disappointing, because what once was the love of my life and the center of my obsessions, suddenly became as interesting as a bucket of clams.
